“Stat” of the Game: Senior Night/Joker’s Last Home Game

Not very often do you see this stat line for Kentucky football, but in Saturday’s game, the Cats total offensive yards, was 455 to Samford’s 102 yards.
Anytime you can out gain your opponent my more than 300 yards, you’re going to put yourself in a great situation to win the game.
With Jalen Whitlow in as QB, the offense really moved the ball down the field well and showed a lot of promise with the young talent.
I know its Samford and the game really doesn’t mean much at all, but it is promising to see the offense move down the field so well and see the defense hold a team to just 3 points.
Let’s hope they can carry this momentum over to the Tennessee game next weekend and walk away with a win and build some momentum to carry over into next season with a new coach.
