Julius Randle Vs. Aaron Gordon
By: Braxton Howard

There has been a lot of internet chatter the last couple days about Kentucky and top 10 2013 big man Aaron Gordon. Gordon recently narrowed his list to three schools: Kentucky, Arizona, and Washington. Some people think Gordon is close to pulling the trigger and committing to Kentucky sometime shortly.
Gordon, Julius Randle, and Andrew Wiggins are the last three guys on Kentucky’s list for the 2013 class. Wiggins is obviously the top target of the group, but getting one of the two big men, Gordon and Randle, is also key to making the 2013 team unbeatable.
The Julius Randle and Kentucky talk has really died down over the last couple of months, and that may be due to the fact that Kentucky isn’t in a great position with Randle. But with that said, if Aaron Gordon commits, Randle almost certainly becomes out of the picture for Kentucky.
Randle is ranked as the #2 player in the 2013 class according to Rivals. As a 6’9 power forward, Randle can both work down low on the block, and extend out to the perimeter and drive.
Gordon is ranked as the #6 player in the 2013 class according to Rivals. Gordon, 6’8, can jump out of the gym. He has a great motor and is always working hard. He is a master at getting tip-ins and rebounding the ball. An athletic big man like Gordon would fit in great with Cals system.
So the question for the Big Blue Nation is, who would you rather have, Gordon or Randle?
Watch them work and decide for yourself.
